TomorrowWorld’s organizers have announced that the festival will not be taking place in 2016 due to its “current environment.”
The Chattahoochee Hills, Ga. festival would have entered its fourth year in operation.
In 2015, TomorrowWorld suffered from heavy rainfall on day two, leaving thousands of attendees stranded without transportation.
The ID&T festival’s parent company, SFX Entertainment, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Feb. 1 and is currently auctioning off its music streaming/download platform, Beatport.
TomorrowWorld spokesperson Debby Wilmsen told Atlanta Business Chronicle that “the festival will have a bright future in the United States,” adding that Tomorrowland’s Belgium and Brazil destination will continue running as normal.
